The name Calyx reflects our philosophy. In botany, the calyx is the part of the flower that protects and supports the bloom. Much like the plant itself, we believe curiosity, care, and education help people grow with confidence.
From the beginning, Calyx was created to feel unlike a traditional dispensary. We wanted to build a space where the canna-curious feel comfortable, experienced consumers feel informed, and every visitor is welcomed with warmth, conversation, and thoughtful guidance.
OUR JOURNEY
Owner Donna Norman founded Calyx from a passion for community, education, and thoughtful cannabis exploration. After years navigating the complexities of cannabis licensing and entrepreneurship, she opened Calyx with a clear purpose: to create a welcoming space rooted in curiosity, connection, and care.
From the beginning, Donna envisioned a dispensary that felt inviting, elegant, and approachable. A place where longtime cannabis consumers and first-time visitors alike could feel comfortable asking questions, exploring thoughtfully curated products, and learning at their own pace.
Today, that vision continues to shape the culture of Calyx, one grounded in warmth, conversation, and cannabis literacy.
